Double Trouble / My new life with Twins A short film by snowboarder Aline Bock

Freeride World Champion and professional snowboarder Aline Bock has been traveling the world for years in search of the best snow and the best waves. She is a passionate athlete and lives for special moments spent outdoors. In the summer of 2021, her life took a turn and she became a mother of twins.

In the short film, Aline talks about the challenges she suddenly faced after becoming a mother of twins. A freedom-loving and independent snowboarder, Aline has defined herself throughout her career with a passion for outdoor adventure. When Aline started a family, she realized that her life as an athlete would change dramatically. She knows the hard work and struggles of achieving her sporting ambitions, but that doesn't prepare her for motherhood. In the first few months after giving birth, Aline was pushing her limits. "I never thought I'd be this tired before having a baby!" Aline speaks in a very open and authentic way about her struggle to find the right balance between her identity as a woman, as a professional athlete, and as a mother.

Although the journey has not been easy, motherhood is Aline's most beautiful and most rewarding career. The smiles, the hugs, the many firsts, and most of all, the love you get back as a parent is priceless and surpasses all the hardships.

This is an honest film about a strong, independent woman who takes on new dual roles as a mother and an athlete without losing herself.
