The concept for the Stingray already existed as the “Big Mountain Mantaray” when the Mantaray was released 12 years ago.
Less taper and bigger sidecut radius to match steeper slopes and draw bigger lines. We spent 5 years or R&D to fine-tune this concept, and finally released the Stingray in addition to the Mantaray lineup.

谷川岳のようなデカい斜面に行くときに使用。MANTARAYより安定感があるので、安心してとばせる板。

斜度がある大きなフィールドや新雪、圧雪、BCで活躍。 マンタレイでは出来なかった大きなターンが出来、また程よくテールは残されているので、independentstickのような、ターンの後半余韻を残すテール使いが出来る。
パウダー時においてmantarayが浮力を受け流すドライブターンとすれば、stingreyは雪面を斬るカービングターンが出来る。テーパードはしっかりあるので浮力的には申し分ない。independent series 中、最も高速域で走れるボード
