GENTEMSTICK has a strong focus on shaping in three dimensions created by the intricate interplay of all the elements that make up a snowboard including the outline, bottom line, torsion, and flex. In order to further improve the fundamental performance of the board and maximize the glide sensations that riders seek, we are offering GENTEM FACTORY TUNE's original base structuring.

We have developed three types of structure patterns to provide a stress-free ride feel by reducing drag from peak season low temps and dry powder conditions to spring slush.

Improving the glide performance through adding structure is of course a major benefit, but by conditioning the base surface in preparation for adding structure, it is possible to smooth out minor scratches and distortions in the base caused by long-term use. This is the biggest benefit of base tuning. A smooth base surface allows for the benefits of structure to be maximized.

【 Shallow 】

GENTEMSTICK's unique structure pattern that is optimized for the peak season in the Niseko area and minimizes the lateral catch and noise from the base. We were able to obtain incredible results in testing conducted by riders in the colder regions of Hokkaido. This structure pattern is ideal for those who mainly ride in areas with low temperatures.

【 Mid 】

A structure pattern in between Shallow and Spring which is suited to mountains like those in Honshu, which have a variety of conditions such as dry powder, wet snow exposed to sunlight, and hard icy slopes.

【 Spring 】

A structure pattern for spring conditions which mitigates the decelerating effects of spring snow from its high water and dirt content.
